If you attend special events in Portland, odds are you’ve already experienced the creative vision of Kurt Beadell — whether immersed in the gorgeous, gritty milieau of Bohemian Paris, bellied up to the bar surrounded by the broad vistas and towering cacti of the American West, or submerged in the ocean savoring extraordinary sushi and drinking in the marvel of the aquatic depths.

Kurt creates experiences people never forget. He takes a notion, then expands and refines and elaborates it, then makes it real. Entering the hospitality industry as baker and a bartender, he broadened and deepened his experience to become co-owner and creative director of Portland’s premier, award-winning event and catering company, VT Group. When not hard at work for clients Kurt devotes himself and his talents to the arts, non profits, and social, economic, and political progress.
